“I am an artist living and working in Eastbourne after many years spent in Scotland, where I exhibited extensively in Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Central belt as well as the North of England.
I have always been fascinated by the human figure and I use figures to delve into human relationships and emotions. My figures are sometimes together, sometimes alone, expressing love hate , sadness, happiness or loneliness.
I paint on canvas using oils and acrylics or I draw with pastels on paper using colour to highlight emotions. I am also exploring collaborating with other artists, which is interesting as the ego has to be left behind when making art with others.
