“I am a graphic designer – in the last few years I’ve become addicted to surface pattern design and other types of textile art.

I use my own photographs, drawings and paintings to create repeat patterns which are printed onto fabric and which I then sew up into cushions, tea-towels and bags. I also print placement designs onto homewares such as mugs and coasters.

I am an inveterate knitter, creating large scale Fair Isle blankets and also wall hangings. These are constructed from hessian and old tee-shirts and based on my drawings of the South Downs.

Bright colours and my love of nature inform my work.”
