“I am a professional photographer and printmaker, living in Lewes with my family.
My time is divided by taking photographic portraits of people, often in their studio or outside in the natural environment, and doing botanical photography and printmaking.
The South Downs National Park is in walking distance from my garden studio and it is from here that I take significant inspiration for my work. I seldom leave home without a camera, and I usually return with numerous sketches, photographs, grasses and flowers, the latter two of which are then dried in one of my presses (I have several) or a heavy book, ready for me to be creative with them. I then use different printmaking techniques (monotype, etching, cyanotype and linocut) and often incorporate my foraged plants or use them as a reference.
Please get in touch if you would like to learn more, would like some photographs taken or you would like to commission me for a bespoke piece of artwork. I also offer 1-to-1 classes and workshops to learn printmaking techniques, the cyanotype process and pressed flower compositions.”
