“We - Jennie, Karen and Claire - founded Eastbourne Studio Pottery in 2017. We are a professional ceramics studio in the heart of Eastbourne with fantastic equipment and expert technical support. We offer classes for all abilities and ages led by our team of dedicated artist-teachers plus a range of taster sessions, talks and specialist workshops. For more experienced makers we offer open access studio membership, project development and a standalone firing service.
The studio takes part in several widely advertised arts events throughout the year where students and members have the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work. We welcome applications from artists and designers for our residency programme where we offer studio space and technical support to develop new projects.
As a Community Interest Company we are dedicated to providing opportunities for all members of the community to explore their creativity, share our facilities and experiment with clay. We work with community groups to offer bespoke workshops and support well-being through the practice of craft.”
