“My current practice centres on drawing though I employ a range of media and processes to develop ideas. My work is driven by a lifelong interest in the natural world and is part of a process of learning about the world we live in - where we come from, what we’re made of and the weird peculiarities of life, the universe and everything. I draw upon sources from science and nature to sci-fi and speculative fiction, and from collaborations with scientists and academics, to chats in the pub.
I have worked with some inspiring galleries, curators, and creative people. Recent highlights include solo shows at the RBSA Gallery, Birmingham, The Beacon, Eastbourne, Carne Restaurant, Hove, and Artelium Wine Estate near Plumpton, as well as selection for prestigious exhibitions including the ING Discerning Eye 2023 and Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2023.
