“My home and studio at No. 37 High Street, Ditchling, actively participate in the annual Artists Open Houses and Artwave Festivals. I curate and create a house gallery to showcase my latest work.
Training began with textile design and surface print, leading to a 12-year career running a business in Sussex. Collaborations with interior designers, textile agents, and private clients enriched this experience. In 2005, I completed a PGCE in higher education, which paved the way for me to design, facilitate, and manage education and recovery college programmes in Secure Mental Health units.
While working full-time, my passion for art remained, leading to a successful transition into contemporary landscape painting. I use oil paint and mix earth pigments with base oils to capture and translate the subjective nature of a landscape through my perspective. In 2023, I co-established WAC Collective, bringing together two core painters and guest artists to exhibit across the UK.”
