“I work from my home studio in Ditchling, Sussex, where I paint primarily with oils to capture the subjective nature of experiencing the landscape of the South Downs and further afield.
I attended art college and trained in textile design and surface print. I initially set up a business in Sussex specialising in design and printed silk fabrics, working with interior designers, textile agents, and private clients. In 2005, I retrained as a teacher to work in the Acute Mental Health Sector. I continued my art, developing skills and transitioning toward contemporary landscape painting.
Over the past 16 years, from my home gallery, No.37 High Street, Ditchling, I have actively participated in Artist’s Open House and Artwave Festivals. I curate these solo exhibitions and successfully sell work. In 2023, I co-established WAC Collective, a core group of two painters, and invited guest artists who exhibit together in the UK.”
