“I’ve been making jewellery in precious metals for over thirty years and find inspiration from the scenery that surrounds me in Sussex. My designs feature unusual gemstones and various traditional jewellery techniques including filigree, reticulation, forging, chain making, alloying, sand casting and stone setting
After completing a degree in Three Dimensional Design at Brighton I was lucky to secure an apprenticeship with goldsmith Jacqueline Mina OBE. Keen to share techniques, I teach traditional studio jewellery making part time.
I sell my jewellery online and at selected exhibitions throughout the year. I am a member of the GIA, a regular exhibitor at Artwave and Open Houses in Brighton. My customers include Judy Dench and I have received the People’s Choice Award at Goldsmiths Fair. I specialise in redesign commissions using recycled gold, silver and gemstones, making them into a unique contemporary pieces of jewellery.”
