“I am an American photographer living in Lewes with my wife and our beloved border collie. I have been pursuing fine art photography for over 25 years, participating in group and solo exhibitions in the US and selling work both there and in Europe.
I work out of my studio here in Lewes, where I produce Still Life, textual, and other arranged work. I am also drawn to depictions of the outside world, whether in capturing the vastness of open spaces, the intricacies of a forest, or the oddities of the urban environment.
I take inspiration from a number of sources, whether it be the formalist styles of photographers like Aaron Siskind or Harry Callahan, the 17 th century Dutch and Spanish masters of Still Life such as Adriaen Coorte and Juan Sanchez Cotan, or the work of Hiroshi Sugimoto, Irving Penn or Lee Friedlander, to name a few.”
